My love for the game started in little league. I was very fortunate to really only have one coach my entire time in Little League, and my team had a lot of the same kids every year so we all got to be great friends.

One of the greatest experiences of my life was the summer of 2006; I got to play a baseball tournament for nine days in Cooperstown, New York - where the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame is! As participants we're all official members of the American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame.

I made lifelong friends in my four years playing high school baseball. We were terrible our freshman year and by senior year we made it to the semi finals in the valley championships. We all just decided to get better together and it was someting special.

My baseball playing career ended abrubtly after high school due to a lack of talent - but I still love the game I grew up with. I coached an elementary school team for a year with some friends from high school one year and definitely plan on being a coach if my future kid has any interest. I also played in a fast-pitch softball league for a few years, but the league disbanded in 2017.
